Live Bacteria

The human body is home to trillions of microorganisms which can have either positive or negative effects on our internal processes. These living microorganisms can have a beneficial effect on a person’s health by improving the microbial balance in the intestine. Bacteria that might have beneficial effects are sometimes referred to as “probiotics” and is also why they are often called ‘good’ or ‘friendly’ bacteria. They are incredibly useful to our body, producing vital vitamins that our bodies need and chemicals that can kill diarrhoea viruses and remove pathogens from our gastrointestinal tract.

Did you know that there are actually 10 times more probiotics in your gut than cells in your body? That means that over 100 trillion bacteria make up the human microbiome in your digestive system. This delicate ecosystem can be disturbed by many things including illness, stress/anxiety, poor sleep, viruses, antibiotics, alcohol, eating on the go and erratic food consumption patterns. This can lead to bloating, discomfort and ultimately to poor nutrient absorption that in turn can mean we have lower energy.

By taking live bacteria supplements such as Probio7 it is possible to increase the amount and diversity of ‘friendly’ bacteria in our body, restoring the imbalance of harmful bacteria in the gut.

Probio7 is a range of digestive health supplements specifically designed to tackle imbalances in the digestive tract. The formulations are produced with a variety of robust bacteria which can survive stomach acid and colonise your gut to deliver their maximum benefits.
